I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for all those who generously supported the Christians of Iraq through the second collection at the liturgies last weekend. I am very proud and impressed for your generosity, support and care. We have collected $1,360.00 from the St. Raymond’s community which was forwarded to the Chancery office to be added with the rest of the parishes of our Diocese. May God reward you and your families with His abundant blessings.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE

Help the Ladies Society collect school supplies for the less fortunate.

There will be a drop box in the church for the month of August.

Items that are needed include:

Scissors           dry erase markers           Tape     crayons

Glue sheet protectors Markers index cards

Folder flash drives Pens etc

 

ST. RAYMOND’S ANNUAL LEBANESE FESTIVAL

Mark your calendars for St. Raymond’s Festival: September 20-21, 2014!

Tickets for the car are available through Rick and Janet Baker or

Wednesday lunches or you may call the rectory at 314-621-0056.

The cost is $100 per ticket.

Hopefully you have received the mailing regarding the festival

 and the 35 raffle tickets. Please return your stubs for the

raffles by mail or on Sundays. Remember our festival is our main

fund raising event. We appreciate your support and participation

in this matter.

You have always given your time talent, and treasure to your parish. Please consider doing the same again this year.

APPOINTMENT
His Excellency, Bishop A. Elias Zaidan has appointed Subdeacon Alex Harb for pastoral training here at St. Raymond’s Cathedral until further notice.
Subdeacon Alex will be assisting in many pastoral activities. We welcome him among us and we wish him the best of luck in his ministry at St. Raymond’s.
